After receiving people's feedback about a passenger car showing signs of violations when traveling on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway, the Director of the Traffic Police Department (CSGT), Ministry of Public Security, directed Department 6 to urgently verify and clarify to handle according to the provisions of law.
Accordingly, at about 9 pm on March 5, 2026, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 1 (Department 6, Traffic Police Department) stopped to inspect passenger car license plate 29G-005. XX. Through inspection, it was determined that the vehicle driver was Mr. N.V.Q (born in 1976, residing in Hoi Thinh commune, Phu Tho province).
Functional forces determined that driver Q had carried out the act of changing lanes on the highway without prior warning, violating regulations on traffic order and safety.
Based on Decree 168/2024/ND-CP of the Government, the working group made a record of administrative violation against Mr. N.V.Q, fined 5 million VND and deducted 2 points from the driver's license.
According to the traffic police force, on highways, changing lanes without signaling is a dangerous act, easily causing collisions due to vehicles moving at high speeds. In the coming time, functional forces will continue to strengthen patrols, inspections, and strictly handle violations to ensure traffic order and safety.
