According to Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, car drivers will be fined VND400,000-600,000 for not complying with the commands and instructions of traffic signs and road markings.
Fines of VND 600,000 - VND 800,000 for drivers who violate the law by changing lanes in the wrong places or without warning signals or changing lanes incorrectly according to the regulation "each lane change is only allowed to change to one adjacent lane".
If the car driver drives the wrong way and causes a traffic accident, he/she will be fined 20-22 million VND and have 10 points deducted from his/her driving license. With the above penalty, drivers need to pay close attention to the mistake of driving in the wrong lane and not complying with signs and road markings.
