On July 7, Lao Dong e-newspaper published an article "Spontaneous landfill surrounds garment capital in Ninh Binh". The article reflects the situation of many spontaneous landfills and garment transfer points around the garment craft village area (also known as Sac village, former My Thang commune) in the area causing environmental pollution.


According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters in the area around Sac village, in addition to garbage transfer points, there are also many spontaneous garbage collection points. Domestic waste, scrap, packaging, fabric scrap and many other types of waste are dumped rampant along the road, on vacant land and along canals.
Immediately after receiving the reflection from Lao Dong Newspaper, Dong A Ward People's Committee directed the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to urgently inspect and verify the reflected information, and report the results to the Ward People's Committee on July 8.
Dong A Ward People's Committee also requested the Party Committee of the Party cell, Heads of Groups, Heads of Front Work Committees of residential groups: Dong My Thang, Chinh Sac, Nam My Thang to strengthen propaganda to the People to raise awareness of responsibility, maintain environmental sanitation, and well implement the Law on the Environment.
By July 14, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters recorded that spontaneous landfills and garbage transfer points causing pollution in the Sac village area had been cleaned up.
