8 victims of landslide in Lang Nu village have been discharged from hospital

Lao Cai - 8 lucky victims who escaped death in the landslide in Lang Nu village, Phuc Khanh commune (Bao Yen district) have returned home after nearly 2 weeks of treatment.

According to information from the People's Committee of Bao Yen district, this afternoon (September 23), 8 patients who were victims of the landslide in Lang Nu village, Phuc Khanh commune (Bao Yen district) were discharged from the hospital and returned to the temporary residence area.

Previously, the flash flood that caused a terrible landslide that occurred on the morning of September 10 in Lang Nu village, Phuc Khanh commune, killed 55 people, left 12 missing, and injured 14 people, including 8 people being treated at Bao Yen District General Hospital (data as of the afternoon of September 23).

After nearly 2 weeks of intensive treatment, the patients gradually recovered and were discharged from the hospital.

These are the lucky survivors who were promptly taken to Bao Yen District General Hospital by authorities and local people for emergency treatment.

Visiting patients before discharge, leaders of Bao Yen District People's Committee shared their difficulties and encouraged patients to overcome their pain, have houses, property and soon stabilize their lives.

The District People's Committee and Bao Yen District General Hospital arranged vehicles to take the patient and his family back to the temporary residence of Lang Nu people.
