But thanks to such attention, people have a place to see more doctors and treat diseases with better quality".
According to Mr. Hai, in the past, whenever there was a seriously ill person in the house, the family often had to take him to Hanoi for treatment, which was very expensive and time-consuming. Currently, this high-tech building not only improves the quality of medical examination and treatment, but also shows the government's concern for people's health. Through research, the high-tech building of the Lao Cai Provincial General Hospital project phase 2 has a scale of 330 beds, starting construction from the end of 2021, with a total investment after 2 additional adjustments of more than 380 billion VND, designed to be modern and convenient.
The project has a block of 9 floors and 5 floors, with a total floor area of 29,630m2. After handover for use, the project will meet the requirements of facilities, improve the quality of medical examination and treatment of the health system in Lao Cai.
According to Lao Cai General Hospital Director Pham Van Thinh, investing in the construction of a high-tech service building under the Provincial General Hospital is an optimal solution, meeting professional technical requirements, an important condition to attract investment and take advantage of international cooperation aid sources to develop the hospital in an advanced and sustainable direction.
The hospital has the opportunity to proactively treat on-site, reduce costs and travel time for patients, contributing to saving medical expenses and social costs.
