According to Da Nang City People's Committee, this locality is implementing a resolution to supplement and stabilize the team of doctors at the grassroots health level.
The policy is applied from 2026 and lasts until December 31, 2030.
Regional Health Centers and Health Stations review targets and professional needs to determine the number of personnel to be supplemented.
Each Health Station ensures a minimum of 4 to 5 doctors with a reasonable structure. The medical doctor force plays a core role, combining the allocation of preventive medicine and traditional medicine doctors to improve the quality of initial medical examination and treatment.
The city provides one-time financial support for doctors who commit to working for at least 5 years at the receiving unit.
The support level reached 500 million VND for doctors, specialist doctors level II, resident doctors; 400 million VND for masters, specialist doctors level I and 250 million VND for university doctors.
Doctors graduating with good grades receive an additional 50 million VND, graduating with excellent grades or higher receive an additional 100 million VND.
In case doctors work at the Health Stations of mountainous and island communes belonging to area III communes receive an additional 0.7 times the attraction level. Doctors working at the Regional Health Center belonging to area III and island communes receive an additional 0.5 times the attraction level.
In addition, the city pays all postgraduate training costs and organizes free practicing licenses for doctors who are attracted.
Units urgently prepare estimates of arising needs in 2026 and submit them to competent authorities before September 30.
