On September 7, Hoan My Cuu Long Hospital said that doctors of the Department of Gastroenterology had received and treated Ms. T.T. A. C (37 years old, address in Ho Chi Minh City) due to the condition of the tumor protruding out of the anus causing many inconveniences in daily life.
Through examination, the doctor recorded hemorrhoids protruding out, rectal examination recorded grade III hemorrhoids and perineal excess skin. The patient underwent necessary tests to assess the health condition before intervention. After considering the severity of the disease and related factors, the doctor advised appropriate treatment options using laser technique.
BS.CKI. Huynh Van Ut Chot - Department of Gastroenterology informed that with grade III hemorrhoids, hemorrhoids often prolapse out when defecating and may have to be pushed in by hand. Prolonged conditions not only cause discomfort, affect the quality of life but also pose a risk of bleeding, inflammation, edema or other complications.
Also according to Dr. Ut Chot, hemorrhoid treatment with laser is one of the minimally invasive methods being applied today.

Compared to the classic hemorrhoidectomy method in appropriate cases, this technique has the advantage of limiting damage to surrounding healthy tissues, small interventions, reducing pain after surgery and supporting patients to recover early.
The choice of treatment method needs to be based on the severity of hemorrhoids, hemorrhoid cluster characteristics, symptoms and health status of each patient. Not all cases have the same indication," Dr. Ut Chot informed.
After treatment, the patient's condition was stable, less pain, convenient living and no abnormalities were recorded. After 24 hours of monitoring at the hospital, Ms. V was discharged from the hospital, returned to normal living and was instructed by the doctor on diet, home care as well as re-examination according to schedule.
