On the afternoon of February 20, Mr. Huynh Minh Tuan - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee presented the decision to appoint Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Thu - Head of the Department of Medical Affairs (Dong Thap Department of Health), to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Health.
Speaking on receiving the assignment, the new Deputy Director of the Department of Health thanked the provincial leaders for their trust, appointment and assignment of new responsibilities. Ms. Thu thanked the leaders of the Department, affiliated units and colleagues for always accompanying, supporting and motivating throughout the work process.
Ms. Thu promised to continue to strive, make efforts, and unite internally to effectively carry out the tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee in caring for people's health.
Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan highly appreciated Ms. Thu's professional qualifications and efforts, believing that she will work with the health sector to undertake and perform well the assigned tasks.
The People's Committee of Dong Thap province requested the Department of Health to continue promoting the spirit of internal solidarity and effectively advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on the contents in the fields of responsibility.
Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Thu (born in 1984), is a Medical Doctor, Master of Public Health (Oxford Brookes University - UK); continuously in the years (2021 - 2024) has completed her tasks excellently.
