According to Tay Ho Ward Health Station, from the beginning of 2025 to now, the ward has recorded 3 outbreaks of dengue fever with a total of 18 patients. In July alone, the ward recorded 2 outbreaks in Residential Groups 12 and 13 with 8 cases of dengue fever.
In response to the development of the epidemic, the Ward Health Station proactively coordinated with relevant units to quickly take action, deploy measures to monitor, handle outbreaks, spray chemicals to kill mosquitoes, and clean up the environment, while strengthening communication work and mobilizing people to proactively prevent the epidemic.
Recorded in Residential Group No. 13, there are currently about 350 households living there. This is an area where many households rent houses and garages for outdoor tires - a favorable environment for disease-carrying mosquitoes to reproductively. In addition, some households still have many household appliances that can contain water such as buckets, pots, water tanks... where monk fruit/orm sickle breeds.

According to Mr. Le Hung Phi - Head of Residential Group No. 13, the residential group is always proactive in coordinating with grassroots health care in environmental sanitation activities and disease prevention and control. In addition, information about the epidemic situation is also regularly updated to people through the group's bulletin board system and Zalo group.
Through inspection and actual monitoring of the two outbreaks in Groups 12 and 13, the Hanoi CDC monitoring team highly appreciated the ward's epidemic prevention work. However, to prevent the risk of the epidemic from spreading, the monitoring team also requested the Ward Health Station to promptly spray a second mosquito repellent in the outbreak area, before spraying, it is necessary to clean up the environment so that the spraying of mosquito repellent is most effective. After spraying, it is necessary to continue to check, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and monitor the epidemiological developments to take timely measures.
The monitoring team also noted that mosquito and stick insect destruction needs to be carried out regularly and continuously not only in the outbreak area but also throughout the residential area. In particular, raising awareness and proactiveness of people in dengue prevention is an important factor in controlling and repelling the epidemic.

In addition, the work of checking, monitoring outbreaks and monitoring the development of the epidemic situation needs to be carried out continuously to detect early cases and handle them promptly, not allowing the epidemic to spread or break out.
The monitoring team has directly instructed households to take measures to prevent dengue fever such as collecting and removing unnecessary tools, flip- around water containers when not in use... At the same time, it is recommended that people with suspicious signs of illness should immediately go to the health station for timely examination and treatment, avoid self-treating at home.
