On July 20, Gia Lai Provincial Department of Health announced the refund of civil servant recruitment fees for 2024 for 1,542 candidates who submitted valid applications, with a total amount of more than 462 million VND.
Accordingly, each candidate will be refunded 300,000 VND. The time to receive applications for refund is from now until the end of September 15.
The refund is made by transferring money to the candidate's payment account. In case of receiving money through the account of the authorized person, it must be accompanied by a legal authorization according to regulations.
Gia Lai Provincial Department of Health noted that if the candidate does not submit a dossier requesting refund after the above deadline, it is considered that there is no need to receive the paid fee back.
Previously, in 2024, in order to supplement human resources for public non-business units that are still lacking officials, the Department of Health developed a recruitment plan and received 1,542 applications. The total recruitment fee collected was 462.6 million VND and has been submitted to the state budget according to regulations.
However, after implementing the organizational structure arrangement, the demand for using public employees in the health sector changed, so the recruitment plan did not continue to be implemented.
To ensure the rights of candidates who have submitted applications, the Department of Health has submitted a report to the Department of Finance requesting permission to use the source of salary fees for recruiting civil servants in 2025 to repay 462.6 million VND collected from 1,542 applications for civil servant recruitment in 2024.
