In the first 6 months of 2026, the implementation of the 2-level local government model has set many new requirements for Trade Union activities. However, Emulation Cluster No. 3 - Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union has quickly consolidated its organization, operated stably, and ensured the effective implementation of the task of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers (ĐV, NLĐ).
Emulation Cluster No. 3 currently includes 7 units: Phu Cat Commune Trade Union, Tam Quan Ward, Phu My Commune, Tay Son Commune, Binh Dinh Ward, An Nhon Nam Ward and Hoai Nhon Nam Ward.
On the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year, units in the cluster presented 395 gifts, worth a total of 395 million VND, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; supported 1,193 "Online Trade Union Tet Market" vouchers with a total value of more than 596 million VND.
In Workers' Month 2026, units continued to present 236 gifts, worth more than 185 million VND, contributing to encouraging union members and workers to feel secure in working and production.
Emulation, cultural, artistic, and sports movements were organized enthusiastically, attracting more than 3,000 turns of union members and workers to participate. Voluntary blood donation activities received 89 units of blood, spreading the spirit of sharing among Trade Union members.
Trade union organization building work achieved many positive results. In the first 6 months of the year, Emulation Cluster No. 3 newly established 17 grassroots trade unions, reaching 39.5% of the assigned target; admitted 2,266 union members, raising the total number to 263 grassroots trade unions with 29,704 union members. Grassroots trade unions also introduced 96 outstanding union members for Party committees to consider, of which 42 union members were admitted to the Party.
Inspection and supervision work continued to be strengthened with 24 inspections of compliance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and 9 financial inspections of the same level, contributing to improving operational efficiency and ensuring trade union financial management in accordance with regulations.
After 6 months of task implementation, units in the cluster have shared many effective models and ways of doing things, and at the same time frankly pointed out the difficulties in the development of UMs and improving the quality of grassroots Trade Union activities after arranging administrative units. From there, many solutions were proposed to complete the targets and tasks for 2026.
To complete the emulation targets, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy - Vice President of Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation - requested units in Emulation Cluster No. 3 to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; promote digital transformation; focus on developing UMs, establishing grassroots trade unions; improve the effectiveness of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of UMs and LDs.
