On May 26, the Office of the People's Committee of Son La province informed that the People's Committee of the province issued decisions approving the renovation and repair project at Son La Provincial General Hospital, Mai Son District General Hospital, Bac Yen District and Quynh Nhai District.
At Son La General Hospital, the 3-storey interdisciplinary office repair project at facility 1 has a total investment of more than 4.2 billion VND. The project includes 7 packages, of which the construction package accounts for more than 3.9 billion VND. In addition, the items of management consulting, supervision, construction insurance, auditing... are also implemented synchronously.
Mai Son District General Hospital has been allocated more than 4.5 billion VND to regularly repair and maintain the Department of Surgery and the Department of Traditional Medicine - Rehabilitation. The construction package accounts for nearly 4.2 billion VND, implemented within 180 days from the second quarter of 2025.
In Bac Yen district, the project to repair the infectious diseases department and the infection control department of the district General Hospital has a total investment of 2 billion VND. Many items have been renovated such as roof drainage system, wall paving, painting, paving, electrical - water system and auxiliary infrastructure for the yard and drainage.
Meanwhile, Quynh Nhai District General Hospital also approved the project to repair the unit 1 inpatient treatment block with a total investment of more than 4.5 billion VND, constructing major items such as repairing 3-storey houses, auxiliary items, electricity - water systems and construction insurance.
All projects use provincial budget capital, allocated from the 2025 estimate. Consulting packages are applied in the form of shortened bidding, while construction packages are widely organized through the network to ensure publicity, transparency and the selection of the right capable contractors.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned hospitals as investors, closely coordinating with the Department of Health and the Department of Construction to organize implementation.
