At the Hanoi Museum, the wedding photos of People's Artist Nhu Quynh and photographer Huu Bao are still preserved, reminiscent of a special event in the 80s.
Nhu Quynh, born in 1954, daughter of the famous singer couple Tieu Lang - Kim Xuan, is a talented and decent actress of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Cinema. Nhu Quynh was once considered the gem of Vietnamese cinema. Meanwhile, Huu Bao - the youngest son of Mr. Tam Ky, a famous high-end fabric trader in the old town - is a talented photographer.

The ao dai Nhu Quynh wore on her wedding day was sewn from a blood-colored velvet fabric sent by her uncle in France. Hai Au cars used to pick up and drop off relatives on both sides are considered luxury cars in the subsidy period.
The artists of the young couple such as painter Thanh Chuong personally painted each wedding invitation. Artists Do Dung and Pham Minh Hai decorated the wedding by cutting colored paper and sticking it to the walls.
When the bride and groom stepped out of the flower car, many people on the street stood watching, both admiring the beauty of the famous actress and being curious about the wedding of the two prestigious families.
The wedding did not turn on loud music but only praised the duong vat, a simple banquet with cakes and tea. The two families made a few meals to invite relatives.
In particular, thanks to a friend of the groom finding a color film roll, the wedding of Nhu Quynh and Huu Bao became the first wedding with color photos in Hanoi at that time.

The love story of a handsome couple
The love story of Nhu Quynh and Huu Bao is natural as fate. Director Nguyen Huu Tuan - Huu Bao's brother - married Nhu Quynh's sister. The two smart houses are only a few blocks apart.
At that time, Nhu Quynh had a 5-year relationship with her boyfriend who was a circus artist. Nhu Quynh's boyfriend's family even brought betel to a girl's house in an alley. But this person went to the US, leaving the young girl with a shock about their unfinished love.
At that time, photographer Huu Bao was by Nhu Quynh's side to comfort her. The fire near the straw has been burning for a long time, love just kept coming naturally.

Since getting married, Nhu Quynh has changed from a child artist to a film actress.
"In 1980, I held a wedding, built a family, and they encouraged me to switch to cinema. That is the most important milestone for my acting career," she said.
During the country's difficult period, despite being a daughter-in-law of a wealthy family, Nhu Quynh wore makeup to earn extra income because she did not want to depend on the economy. Photocopper Huu Bao took wedding photos.

Up to now, People's Artist Nhu Quynh and photographer Huu Bao have been together for more than 40 years. For four decades, Nhu Quynh, although a screen artist, has never lived as a star. When she is not busy filming, she always takes care of her family.
The couple has two daughters, Dan Huyen and Dan Khue. The whole extended family lives simply in a part of the house at 48 Hang Dao.
