Trinh Van Thai is involved in a large-scale fraud and money laundering ring run by TikToker Mr Pips - Pho Duc Nam (31 years old), residing in Ward 8, Vung Tau City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, and his accomplices. This ring has been fought, dismantled, and arrested by Hanoi City Police, the ringleader and dozens of related subjects for the acts of "Fraudulent appropriation of property" and "Money laundering", seizing a large amount of assets worth more than 5,200 billion VND.
This ring was accused of appropriating more than VND 5,200 billion. Thai was identified as having a role in the ring. On March 6, the Da Nang Criminal Police Department prosecuted Thai. Because the subject fled, the investigation agency issued a special wanted notice to serve the investigation.
