Through the investigation, on December 7, the Criminal Police Department of the Provincial Police discovered a Facebook group named “7211” consisting of 29 young people residing in Ha Tinh province who made an appointment to gather in the evening of the same day to race and bring weapons to resolve conflicts with a group of young people from Quang Binh.
Considering the seriousness of the incident, the Criminal Police force reported and advised the Provincial Police Board, and at the same time directed and coordinated with the police units of Huong Khe and Thach Ha districts to quickly verify and clarify the information and proactively use professional measures for prevention.
With proactive and timely actions, in a short time, the police force identified information, identities and summoned 13 subjects born in 2000 - 2010.
The police also seized two homemade knives and other related evidence.
Initially, the subjects admitted that on December 7, they went to Quang Binh province in a group to fight with a group of young people in this province.
This group of teenagers also confessed that they had previously gone to Can Loc, Huong Khe, Ha Tinh city and Quang Binh province several times to fight, cut each other's motorbike license plates and take pictures to post on Tiktok and Facebook.
The police force is continuing to verify and clarify related subjects to take deterrent measures and handle them according to the provisions of the law.
