It is worth mentioning that while the old iron railing (not yet constructed) is still sturdy and not much has changed, the railing system has been seriously damaged after the storm.
After Lao Dong Newspaper published the article "Billion-dollar stone railing in Lao Cai on unusual road after storm No. 3", the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee sent an official dispatch to relevant units to inspect and clarify.
On the side of Lao Cai city, it has directed to urgently repair and repair the stone railing system on An Duong Vuong street on the right bank of the Red River. To date, 710m of stone railings damaged by the impact of storm No. 3 have been repaired.
The entire cost of repairing and repairing the stone railing system is paid 100% by contractors who are a consortium of Anh Huong Construction and Trading Investment Company Limited (registered in Hai Duong province) - Lao Cai Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company (registered in Lao Cai province).
For the remaining railing locations, the Lao Cai City Construction Investment Project Management Board requires the construction contractor and the investor's supervisors to check and review all, otherwise, they will dismantle and replace all according to the approved design documents.
The representative of the Lao Cai City Construction Investment Project Management Board also said that the unit has organized a leadership meeting, seriously reviewing the relevant collectives and individuals who have allowed construction to not comply with the design.
Currently, the authorities have collected documents for the stone railing project on An Duong Vuong Street to review and clarify the responsibilities of related groups and individuals.
After receiving the conclusion from the competent authority, the City Construction Investment Project Management Board will conduct a review and handling according to regulations.
