The Hanoi People's Committee has just approved the 2025 land use plan of Soc Son district with a total of 154 projects, covering an area of 1,770.32 hectares. These projects focus on traffic development, environmental improvement, construction of residential areas, educational infrastructure and cultural preservation to meet the socio-economic development needs of the locality.
Highlights in the list are important transportation projects such as the construction of the second section of the road connecting Vo Nguyen Giap Street to the Soc Son satellite urban area, with an area of 19.85 hectares, passing through Mai Dinh, Phu Linh and Tien Duoc communes. This is a strategic project, enhancing regional connectivity and promoting economic circulation. The project to expand National Highway 3 from the intersection of Road 18 to the intersection to Soc Temple (35.7 hectares) is also an important highlight.
In the education sector, notable projects include the construction of advanced multi-level schools in Mai Dinh and Tien Duoc (6.38ha), Trung Gia High School (3.85ha), and the upgrading of Hong Ky Secondary School (0.7ha). These projects not only improve the quality of education but also meet the learning needs of the people.
Regarding cultural preservation and tourism development, the project to restore and embellish the Trung Gia revolutionary resistance relic (0.86ha) and the conservation area in area IV of Soc Son cultural and tourism area (23.74ha) are important highlights. These projects help preserve cultural heritage and at the same time develop the district's tourism potential.
Soc Son district also focuses on developing residential areas and improving the living environment with projects such as building a resettlement area in Nam Son commune to serve migrants from the environmental impact area of the Soc Son waste treatment complex (90.33ha) and building Nui Doi park (6.8ha). These projects contribute to improving living space, creating a green, clean, and modern environment for residents.
Infrastructure and environmental improvement projects such as dredging and renovating Dac Duc Lake, Ve Linh Village, Phu Linh Commune (0.5ha) and building a drainage system in Bac Son Commune (12.4ha) are also included in the plan. These projects help minimize negative impacts on the environment and support sustainable development.
The People's Committee of Soc Son district is assigned to organize the public disclosure of the plan, closely monitor the implementation process, and promptly report to the Hanoi People's Committee on emerging projects for additional approval. The synchronous implementation of the 2025 land use plan will contribute to improving the quality of life and promoting the comprehensive development of Soc Son district.
