According to information from the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Electronic Information Portal, at the meeting to listen to the report of the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board on the planning of industrial parks to implement the Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, a representative of the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board said that the Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Provincial People's Committee to deploy the general construction plan and zoning plan for the construction of 4 industrial parks.
Including: Phu My Industrial Park with an area of 650 hectares; Bac Chau Duc 1 Industrial Park with an area of 1,200 hectares; Bac Chau Duc 2 Industrial Park with an area of 1,000 hectares and Bac Chau Duc 3 Industrial Park with an area of 1,000 hectares.
In particular, Phu My Industrial Park has completed the preparation steps as submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the outline, tasks and estimates. After approval, the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board will organize the selection of contractors and conduct planning, expected to be submitted for approval at the end of 2025.
For Bac Chau Duc 1 Industrial Park, the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board is submitting to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the policy to carry out preparation steps such as registering additional funding for planning, selecting contractors, surveying and making zoning plans. When the Law on Urban and Rural Planning takes effect on July 1, 2025, the Committee will develop a plan and submit it for approval by the end of 2025.
Bac Chau Duc 2 and 3 industrial parks will be planned for the period 2026 - 2030 when they meet the conditions. The Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches and localities to closely coordinate to ensure progress and compliance with legal regulations, and at the same time review current regulations to ensure planning is in accordance with the general development orientation of the province.
