The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued Decision No. 281/QD-UBND assigning the investor to implement the Social Housing Project No. 01 in areas No. 5 and No. 9 in the Southern Urban Area of Bac Giang city (now Bac Giang ward and Tan Tien ward, Bac Ninh province).
According to the Decision, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province assigned Nodeco Joint Stock Company as the project investor.
The project is invested in construction on an area of about 14,466m2, expected to build 2 social housing buildings with 19 floors and 17 floors.
Functional spaces in buildings include: Parking space (arranged in the basement); commercial service business space (maximum 20% of the total housing floor area of the project); apartments; community and public spaces, commonly used by the whole building. In addition, there is a technical system for the project to serve the entire building.
The project provides about 1,000 social housing apartments for living, providing accommodation for about 3,600 people. The project's operation period is 50 years.
In the investment project to build at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the 2021-2030 period of the Prime Minister, Bac Ninh province was assigned the target of building 147,100 apartments, accounting for over 14% of the total target nationwide.
To date, there are 77 social housing projects being implemented in Bac Ninh province with a total area of about 280 hectares, expected to provide about 114,400 apartments when completed.
From the beginning of 2025 to now, Bac Ninh province has completed 12,649 more apartments, reaching about 80% of the 2025 plan.
