Bac Ninh has just sent an official dispatch to the Departments: Construction, Agriculture and Environment, Industry and Trade; Management Board of Bac Ninh Industrial Parks; People's Committee of Tien Phong, Nenh Wards; Cuu Long Industrial Infrastructure Development Company Limited; S&G Joint Stock Company.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province agreed in principle to merge Tang Tien Industrial Cluster (IP) into Van Trung Industrial Park (IP) according to the proposal of the Department of Construction in the Document dated October 31, 2025; the total area after the merger is about 388ha (of which the area of Tang Tien area is about 36.48ha).
Assign departments and branches according to their functions and tasks: Coordinate and guide Cuu Long Industrial Infrastructure Development Company Limited to carry out the merger in accordance with current standards and regulations (managing the use of land funds for small and medium enterprises, supporting industry enterprises, and innovation enterprises according to regulations); at the same time, consider renaming Tang Tien area after merging into Sub-area 3 of Van Trung Industrial Park (to be completed before December 20, 2025).
Van Trung Industrial Park is located in Nenh ward - one of the industrial capitals of Bac Ninh province, with many large FDI enterprises, especially from Korea, Japan and China.
According to Resolution No. 147, dated July 15, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee on Industrial Development of Bac Giang province (old), now Bac Ninh province, in the period of 2021-2030, the province will merge 6 industrial clusters into industrial parks.
Including industrial clusters: Tan Hung, Tang Tien, Noi Hoang, Cau Go, Trai Ba, Duc Thang.
The merger of industrial clusters into industrial parks creates favorable conditions for state management and attracts secondary enterprises to invest. Currently, the state management of industrial clusters belongs to the Department of Industry and Trade, while industrial parks are managed by the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board.
Bac Ninh currently has 36 IPs established with a scale of over 10,600 hectares and according to the plan will develop to 50 IPs, with a total area exceeding 15,000 hectares.
