The Thuy Nguyen Mechanical and Casting Craft Village Industrial Cluster project has a total area of 19.96 ha, of which the area to be cleared is 15.5 ha in 2 wards Le Ich Moc and Thien Huong.
The area to be cleared in Le Ich Moc ward is 14.3 ha, involving 244 households. Although the implementation process faced many difficulties due to many changes in land policies, complicated land records and the arrangement of administrative units, with the drastic leadership and direction of the Party Committee and People's Committee of the ward, the close coordination of agencies and units and the consensus of the people, the land clearance work has completed the entire area according to plan.
In the process of implementation, Le Ich Moc Ward People's Committee has fully, publicly, and transparently implemented the procedures for compensation, support, and resettlement; strengthened propaganda, dialogue, mobilization, and promptly removed arising difficulties and obstacles. The locality has issued 14 decisions approving compensation and support plans, 224 decisions on land acquisition, resolved 54/54 opinions and recommendations of households and completed the handover of the entire site to investors on June 30, creating conditions for the project to be implemented on schedule.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh - Chairman of the Ward People's Committee - acknowledged and praised the sense of responsibility of collectives and individuals who have contributed to completing the project site clearance work. The Chairman of the Ward People's Committee requested departments and units to continue to promote the spirit of responsibility and improve the efficiency of coordination in implementing key tasks and projects in the area.
