168 wards and communes of Ho Chi Minh City jointly work to build a new land price list applicable from 2026
On August 26, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee issued a document directing departments, branches and the People's Committees of 168 wards, communes and special zones to develop a first land price list in the city, applicable from January 1, 2026 according to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 159 of the 2024 Land Law.
According to the document, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment to advise and propose the preparation of state budget estimates for the work of building, adjusting, amending and supplementing specific land price lists and land valuations.

This is done on the basis of inheriting the approved norms of the three regions (HCMC, Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau before the merger) and applying them appropriately to each region, reporting before September 5, 2025.
The Department of Finance is also assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Justice and relevant agencies to review and advise on the selection of organizations to implement land price determination under the shortened bidding method, based on Article 80 of Decree 214/2025/ND-CP dated August 4, 2025. Tuyen Quang plans to have 146 social housing units in 2025
According to the Department of Construction of Tuyen Quang province, this locality is assigned to build 3,000 social housing units. On that basis, the Provincial People's Committee has developed an annual allocation target plan.
In 2025, construction and investment are underway to complete 146 units. In 2026, it is expected to start construction, invest in construction and strive to complete 254 units. In 2027, it is expected to complete 450 apartments. In 2028, it is expected to complete 557 units. In 2029, it is expected to complete 583 units and by 2030, it is expected to complete 1,010 units.
To complete the social housing target according to Decision No. 444/QD-TTg dated February 27, 2025, up to now, Tuyen Quang province is implementing the construction of a social housing area under the Tuyen Quang Urban Housing Development Area project in Minh Xuan ward with a construction area of 1,610m2 (including 7 upper floors and 1 basement), floor area of about 13,130m2, accommodating about 146 apartments.

Many houses, land, and public assets of state agencies in Pleiku ward are being listed for recovery and management.

On August 26, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province assigned the Provincial Department of Finance to advise on the decision to reclaim 38 surplus houses, land, and headquarters to assign the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to manage and exploit according to regulations.
The Provincial People's Committee also agreed to the plan to jointly use the headquarters of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council (old) on Tran Hung Dao Street, Pleiku Ward.
