Hanoi strives to hand over 10 hectares of clean land in October 2025
The People's Committee of Thuong Cat Ward strives to clear 10 hectares of the Hanoi Biotechnology High-Tech Park Project to hand over in October 2025.

According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper on September 8, the site clearance unit of Thuong Cat Ward (Hanoi City) is continuing to carry out procedures to clear the site at the Hanoi High-Tech Biosphere Project.
Mr. Nguyen Van Be (71 years old) - a household affected by the Hanoi Biotechnology High-Tech Park Project - shared: "My family has more than 1,600m2 of agricultural land in the project planning. Currently, the site clearance unit has measured the land area and inventoried assets on the land.
My most urgent wish is that the competent authorities will soon clearly announce the compensation and support plan for livelihood conversion. At this age, we no longer have the ability to learn a new job or work as workers, so we really need a specific support plan to stabilize our lives after our land is reclaimed". See more...
Explaining why apartment prices are still increasing despite declining purchases
Successful transaction volumes have decreased, but real estate prices, especially commercial apartments, are still increasing, making it more difficult for many people to access real housing.

Analyzing this issue, Mr. Le Hoang Chau - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Real Estate Association - said that for apartment buildings, land costs account for about 15%, construction costs account for about 50% of the cost. In addition, there are interest expenses, administrative procedures, and project legal procedures.
"First of all, the land price list announced by the State has increased compared to before, causing land prices to increase, leading to increased land use fees and land rents. In addition, the prices of construction materials such as steel, sand, and bricks have all recorded an increase. This has forced investors to recalculate the output product price" - Mr. Le Hoang Chau commented. See more...
