Proposal to cut off electricity and water for households using social housing for subjects who do not voluntarily return their houses
After the Department of Construction concluded (on April 26) on the inspection of social housing projects in Bien Hoa City and determined that many apartments were not used for the right subjects, Dong Nai Housing Trading Joint Stock Company invited 23 households that were not used for the right subjects to work at social housing apartments A1&A2, B1&B2 (Quang Vinh Ward, Bien Hoa City).
However, only 7 households explained, 1 household returned the apartment, 2 households returned the apartment in the coming time and 1 household was the right subject, the right lease contract, while 12 households had not contacted to verify.
These are cases where the inspection determines that they are being leased back, or given to children, grandchildren... with a different name than the owner's name.
Dong Nai Housing Trading Joint Stock Company recommends the Department of Construction: For households that have not been contacted for verification, the company will continue to send invitations and contact directly. After verifying and discovering that the right subjects were not allocated social housing, the company will conduct a campaign and propaganda for households to voluntarily return their houses.
In case of non-compliance, utilities such as electricity and water will be temporarily suspended or restricted. Notice of land reclamation in 1,031 cases for the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project
Binh Duong province is urgently implementing component project 1 - site clearance for Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 through Binh Duong province. The starting point of the project is from Thu Bien bridge in Bac Tan Uyen district, the end point of Saigon river, Ben Cat city. The site clearance project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee with a total investment of VND 7,926 billion.
The expected land acquisition area is 239.8 hectares, passing through Thu Dau Mot city, Tan Uyen city, Ben Cat city and Bac Tan Uyen district.
There are about 1,451 cases affected when implementing the project. Of which, there are about 300 cases subject to resettlement.

Vietnam's real estate is booming
Savills' investment report for the first quarter of 2025 shows that the Asia-Pacific real estate market continues to slow down due to the impact of global economic instability and geopolitical tensions.
Total investment value in the whole region decreased by 40% compared to the same period last year, down to 24.2 billion USD - the lowest level in a decade. However, Vietnam, along with India and Malaysia, emerged as rare bright spots with positive results in investment activities.
Vietnam recorded impressive growth momentum thanks to a series of major infrastructure projects being accelerated, such as the North-South Expressway, Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, and Long Thanh International Airport. Difficulty finding a private house in Nam Tu Liem district under 3 billion VND
According to Lao Dong reporters, many private houses in alleys in Nam Tu Liem district under 3 billion VND/unit are gradually becoming scarce. There are even houses in narrow alleys that are being advertised for sale at 100-150 million VND/m2, depending on the area.
For example, a private house in an alley on Le Duc Tho street with 4 floors, 33m2 wide is being advertised by its owner for 4.8 billion VND, equivalent to 146 million VND/m2, which surprised everyone.
In other cases, a private house in an alley in Tay Mo ward with an area of 43m2 is being advertised for sale at VND5.2 billion, equivalent to about VND120 million/m2; A private house in Dai Mo ward with an area of 30m2, is being advertised for sale by the owner at VND4.5 billion, equivalent to VND150 million/m2.
