Quang Ninh handles problems with abandoned resettlement apartment projects
The People's Committee of Quang Ninh province has just issued Document No. 236/TB-VP.UBND, announcing the conclusion of the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu Van Dien at the meeting to handle the problems of the project to rebuild old, damaged and degraded apartment buildings in Quang Hanh ward.
More than a decade ago, the 4-storey apartment complex at lot C and D (Tan Lap 7 area, Quang Hanh ward) - home to dozens of households who are workers of Cam Pha Central Mechanical Company - was degraded and damaged at level D, no longer ensuring safety.

To solve the housing needs of households, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province has approved the Investment Project to rebuild old, degraded apartments in Quang Hanh ward according to Decision No. 926/QD-UBND dated April 25, 2012 and Decision No. 1497/QD-UBND dated June 14, 2013, with a total area of 17,434 m2, divided into 2 areas: Area A (9,431.91 m2, land allocation free of land use fees) and Area B (8,001.6 m2, land allocation with land use fees).
In September 2014, more than 50 households moved to the temporary housing area to serve the construction of the CC-1 resettlement apartment building in Area A (expected to be temporary until June 2015). See more...
Real estate market recovers, reducing pressure on bond debt
The recovery of the real estate market is an important support contributing to reducing concerns about bond debt pressure of enterprises in the industry.

According to data from ACB Securities Company (ACBS), the total face value of late-payment bonds in the second quarter of 2025 was VND 25,000 billion, 1.3 times higher than the first quarter. Most of these came from the real estate group, with an increase from VND 8,500 billion to VND 23,100 billion.
According to VIS Rating, there are about VND1,200 billion of bonds with a high risk of being delayed for the first time in August 2025. This is a bond issued by two real estate enterprises with "extremely weak" credit records. In addition, VND14,400 billion of maturing bonds have been late in paying interest, with 4 enterprises related to Van Thinh Phat Group accounting for VND10,500 billion, the remaining bonds are of Novaland, Trung Nam and Hai Phat - all of whom are in the process of debt restructuring.

According to the consolidated financial report sent to the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), Bong Sen Joint Stock Company continues to record a business period below capital, with a loss after tax of nearly 356 billion VND in the first half of 2025. This result has increased the company's total accumulated loss as of June 30, 2025 to nearly VND 3,100 billion. The plots of land have an area of 72 - 182m2, with starting prices ranging from 9 - 19.25 million VND/m2, equivalent to 648 million VND to more than 3.5 billion VND per plot. This price does not include registration fees, fees for granting Land Use Rights Certificates; land with complete investment in traffic infrastructure.
