Many land use rights auctions in Ninh Binh province have brought in tens or even hundreds of billions of VND to the State budget, with a difference higher than the initial starting price.
Recently, on 13.5, (2 days) before the announcement of the auction results of 126 land lots in Ninh Phong ward (Hoa Lu city), Tuan Linh Property Auction Company, had to make a notice of canceling the auction of the right to use the 126 plots due to the number of people participating in the auction too crowded. This caused hundreds of customers to submit the application and deposit was quite surprised.
Mr. N.T.T shared that I bought 3 sets of documents to participate in the auction and also paid a deposit for all 3 sets of documents according to regulations. However, it is unclear why the auction organizer announced the cancellation of the above auction.
"The total amount of money I deposited for the above 3 documents was nearly 1 billion VND, the auction organizer did not give any explanation to the customers. I have received the full deposit back" - Mr. T, said.
On the morning of May 16, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper about the cancellation of the above auction, Mr. Pham Van Chinh - Director of Tuan Linh Property Auction Company said that the reason was due to the large number of people submitting documents to participate in the auction. Mr. Chinh also refused to provide further information related to the above incident.
However, according to the announcement and regulations for the auction of the above 126 land lots issued by Tuan Linh Property Auction Company earlier, "The auction participation documents are accepted without limiting the quantity and one person can buy many sets of documents to participate in the auction of many land lots".
Ms. Dinh Vu Huyen, representative of the Hoa Lu City Land Fund Development Center, said that according to regulations, by 5:00 p.m. on May 12, the sale and receipt of documents to participate in the auction of the above 126 plots of land will have to be completed, however, through inspection, it is shown that there are still points in receiving customer documents that do not ensure objectivity. Therefore, we have drawn up a working record with Hop Danh Company for auctioning Tuan Linh property, and at the same time, requested Hop Danh Company to auction Tuan Linh property to announce the cancellation of the auction.
"We are asking relevant units to complete the procedures to reorganize the auction objectively, in accordance with the provisions of law" - Ms. Huyen said.
