Can Tho Department of Construction officially announced the receipt of research results from agencies, organizations, and experts on urban and rural planning in the area.
This receipt is implemented according to the direction of the City People's Committee related to the task of preparing the city's general plan to 2050, vision to 2075 and researching and reviewing urban, rural, and architectural landscape planning of urban areas along the Hau River and Can Tho River in Official Dispatch No. 2218/UBND-XDĐT dated November 6, 2025 and Official Dispatch No. 871/UBND-XDĐT dated February 14, 2026.
According to the announcement of the Department of Construction, the content received focuses on the orientation of urban space organization; landscape architecture; technical infrastructure system, social infrastructure; urban development solutions and proposals serving the research, review of planning, and orientation of urban space development of the city.
The scope of research is throughout Can Tho City. In particular, encouraging ideas and proposals for areas with characteristic values of riverine landscape, ecology and culture (urban areas along the Hau River, Can Tho River, Cai Khe islet, Ninh Kieu wharf area...).
Research results can be expressed in many forms such as: research reports, idea explanations, planning options (design, drawings, models, illustrative images, digital data or related professional documents).
The receipt is carried out in accordance with legal regulations on urban and rural planning and related regulations.
The support is voluntary and does not incur financial obligations from the state budget. Agencies, organizations, and experts submitting research results are responsible for the legality and intellectual property rights of the content provided.
