On March 11, the Binh Duong Provincial Electronic Information Portal reported that the Provincial People's Committee has approved the results of the invitation to pay attention to the investment project to build an education - training complex (university, vocational training, high school, junior high school, primary school) - phase 1 in Tan Uyen city, Binh Duong province.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province approved FPT Education Company Limited as the investor to meet the requirements for capacity and experience in implementing the above project.
The People's Committee of Binh Duong province assigned the People's Committee of Tan Uyen city to be responsible for posting a list of investors meeting the requirements of capacity and experience in the project's interest-inviting documents on the national bidding network.
At the same time, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with agencies to guide FPT Education Company Limited to complete the procedures for approving investors according to the provisions of law, and advise the Provincial People's Committee to approve investors to implement the project.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that in October 2024, the People's Council of Binh Duong province issued a resolution on the list of land plots to be bid to select investors to implement land use projects in the area. Including 8.4ha of land to implement the education and training complex project (University, vocational training, high school, junior high school, primary school).
The project is located on DT 747 road, Tan Ba quarter, Thai Hoa ward, Tan Uyen city, Binh Duong province. This is the border area between Binh Duong and Dong Nai, close to Ho Chi Minh City.
The total investment of the project is 543 billion VND, of which the project implementation cost is about 472.7 billion VND, the compensation cost is about 21 billion VND, the rest is the contingency cost.
The project implementation period is 50 years. According to the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, the investment goal of the project is to form an educational complex, thereby meeting the learning needs of about 4,150 students.
