The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued instructions related to the housing project in Gia Dong commune, Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province (old) now Thuan Thanh ward, Bac Ninh province of Duc Viet Group Joint Stock Company.
Accordingly, considering the proposal in the report dated October 8, 2025 of the Provincial Police on the related situation of the housing project in Gia Dong commune of Duc Viet Group Joint Stock Company. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province directed:
The Provincial Inspectorate, relevant departments, branches and localities and Duc Viet Group Joint Stock Company reviewed and urgently implemented the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in the official dispatch dated November 14, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee (for the parts that have not been implemented and have not been completed), especially completely handling the shortcomings and violations at the project according to the inspection conclusions.
Department of Finance: Preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to review and evaluate legal regulations and based on the actual situation in the project to make specific proposals for the implementation of the project of Duc Viet Group Joint Stock Company, not to let the project continue to be behind schedule and to arise complaints and complications in security and order in the locality; conduct inspections and prepare a record to punish administrative violations of investment according to the provisions of law against Duc Viet Group Joint Stock Company.
The Provincial Police continue to grasp the related situation, especially the implementation of the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the handling of problems, violations, and issues related to economic security at the project to advise and propose solutions to ensure economic security, security, and order at the project.
According to the reporter's investigation, the residential area in Gia Dong commune also has the commercial name of Duc Viet Urban and General Service Area. This project has a scale of 8.35 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 990 billion VND.
In March, this project was named by the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province as one of the projects with long-term delays, low efficiency, causing great loss and waste.
Previously, on November 14, 2024, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province assigned the Department of Construction to direct, consider administrative sanctions or advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to sanction administrative sanctions against Duc Viet Group Joint Stock Company in the above project for violations in real estate and housing business activities (using investors' deposits to pay land use fees, signing a house sale and purchase contract formed in the future when not qualified...).
At the same time, coordinate with the People's Committee of Thuan Thanh Town (old) to inspect and handle violations in the construction sector at the project (if any) according to authority and in accordance with legal regulations; based on functions and tasks, coordinate, review, and guide Duc Viet Company to carry out related procedures in accordance with legal regulations.
