The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just announced the opinion of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the inspection of works and projects on October 22, 2025.
According to the announcement, on October 22, 2025, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province organized an inspection and examination of a number of works and projects. At the project of the construction of the Golden Canal Bridge and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge, after listening to the units report on the situation, implementation results, difficulties, problems and proposals and recommendations; the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee gave the following opinion:
Criticized the Party Secretary, Chairman of Trung Kenh Commune People's Committee and the Director of the Provincial Traffic and Agriculture Project Management Board No. 2 for being slow, unconcentrated, and determined in site clearance, slowing down the project implementation progress. Requesting units to seriously implement the instructions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, urgently and resolutely, focusing on resolving the site problems of the remaining 12 households, completing the handover to the contractor before November 30, 2025.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province will consider the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals if they continue to delay site clearance, affecting the project implementation progress.
The Director of the Provincial Traffic and Agriculture Project Management Board No. 2 coordinated with relevant units to grasp in detail the implementation of site clearance on the Hai Phong side, advised the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to document (before October 28, 2025) to request the Hai Phong City People's Committee to pay attention, speed up the progress, and complete the site clearance work in November 2025.
The Kenh Vang Bridge and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge are major and important projects of the province; requiring departments, investors, contractors, and localities to focus, resolutely, and proactively coordinate to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles.
Request the Provincial Traffic and Agricultural Project Management Board No. 2 to strengthen management, urging, and directing contractors to increase human resources, resources, increase construction teams, and increase construction time to ensure the completion of the entire project in June 2026.
Investors and contractors fully implement measures to ensure labor safety, traffic safety, environmental sanitation, fire prevention and fighting... during the construction process.
The investment project to build the Golden Canal Bridge and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge is invested by the Management Board of the Traffic and Agricultural Project of Bac Ninh Province No. 2, with a total length of nearly 13.4km, of which the bridge length is 743m; the total investment is nearly 2,200 billion VND. The project will be implemented from 2021 - 2027.
