Pursuant to Point a, Clause 3, Article 70 of Decree 122/2021/ND-CP, violations of the reporting and providing specific planning information regime for the act of intentionally providing incorrect information about the planning may be subject to fines as follows:
Article 70. Violating the reporting and provision of planning information regime
3. Fine from VND 100,000,000 to VND 150,000,000 for one of the following acts:
a) Intentionally providing incorrect information about the planning.
b) Destroying, forging or distorting records, papers, and documents related to the planning.
c) Obstruction of giving opinions on planning activities of agencies, organizations and individuals.
4. Remedial measures:
a) Forced to update information and database on planning documents into the national information system and database on planning in the network environment in case of failure to update information and database for violations of regulations in Point c, Clause 1 of this Article.
b) Forced to provide information for the violation specified in Point b, Clause 2 of this Article.
c) Forced storage or supplementation of complete planning storage records for violations specified in Point c, Clause 2 of this Article.
d) Forced correction of planning information for violations specified in Point a, Clause 3 of this Article.
Thus, the act of intentionally providing false information about the planning can be subject to a fine of 100 million to 150 million VND. In addition, it is necessary to correct information about the planning according to regulations.
Note: The above fine level applies to organizations. The fine for individuals is 1/2 of the fine for organizations committing the same administrative violation. (Clause 2, Article 4 of Decree 122/2021/ND-CP).
