The Chi Minh Commune Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council has just held a conference to publicly post and ask for public opinions on compensation and support plans for households and individuals whose land is recovered to implement the Van To Industrial Cluster Infrastructure Investment, Construction and Business Project.
The conference took place with the participation of members of the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Chi Minh commune; representatives of Tuan Kiet - TK LLC (investor); Tu Ky Construction Investment Project Management Board; Commune Culture - Sports and Communications Center; leaders of My An, Lam Dong, Nho Lam villages and representatives of 92 households whose land was recovered within the project area.
At the conference, the Commune Land Clearance Council (GPMB) announced a compensation, support and resettlement plan for affected households. Accordingly, the total implementation cost is nearly 46 billion VND, including compensation for land, crops, architectural works, support for stabilizing life and career conversion.

During the discussion, many households expressed their agreement and support for the project implementation policy, and at the same time recommended that the Land Acquisition Council and competent authorities review and carefully count the number of households, recovered land areas, compensation units and support items to ensure accuracy, fairness, transparency and compliance with regulations.
Representatives of the Commune Land Acquisition Council and the investor have fully received their opinions, committed to reviewing and comparing the records, data and compensation plan before submitting it to the competent authority for official approval.
The announcement of the plan took place in a democratic, public, frank and constructive atmosphere, demonstrating the spirit of consensus and cooperation between the government, investors and people, contributing to accelerating the implementation of the Van To Industrial Cluster Project - a key project of great significance in socio-economic development, job creation and labor structure shift in Chi Minh commune.
