The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has just issued Decision No. 1846/QD-BNNMT announcing the abolition of administrative procedures in the field of land under the state management functions of the Ministry. The abolition is implemented based on Resolution No. 66.19/2026/NQ-CP of the Government on reducing, decentralizing, simplifying administrative procedures and reducing, simplifying business conditions under the management scope of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
The list of procedures to be abolished includes the procedure "Providing information and land data" at the central and provincial levels. Previously, this procedure was carried out at the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Land Registration Office or the Branch of the Land Registration Office and the Commune People's Committee.
The decision takes effect from May 18, 2026, and also abolishes some contents previously announced in Decision No. 2304/QD-BNNMT issued in 2025.
According to Resolution No. 66.19/2026/NQ-CP, the provision of information and land data will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Access to Information and Circular No. 56/2024/TT-BTC on collection levels, collection regimes, payment, management and use of fees for exploitation and use of land documents from the National Information System on Land.
