The Prime Minister has just issued document No. 530/TTg-NN dated May 19, 2026 on strengthening and promoting the work of surveying and mapping cadastral records, preparing cadastral records and completing the national database on land.
According to the document, surveying and mapping cadastral maps, registering land, preparing cadastral records and completing the national database on land is an important and urgent political task, which must be completed in 2026 as required by the Politburo in Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW dated January 6, 2026 and has been directed by the Prime Minister in Directive No. 05/CT-TTg dated February 13, 2026 and Notice No. 239/TB-VPCP dated May 8, 2026.
Although the locality has made many efforts to implement tasks and solutions to accelerate the implementation progress, the time for deployment and implementation is not much left, while the workload to be completed is very large.
To ensure the correct implementation of the Central Government's direction, on schedule and with quality, the Prime Minister requested the Secretaries of City Party Committees and Provincial Party Committees to directly lead and direct the Party Committees and People's Committees of provinces and cities to focus and drastically deploy measurement, make cadastral maps, register land, make cadastral records and complete the national land database in 2026.
In which, focus on reviewing the entire workload, developing detailed plans and implementation progress; clearly assigning agencies, units, and individuals to be responsible in the spirit of "6 clear"; establishing a mechanism to monitor, inspect, and evaluate progress regularly; promptly removing difficulties and obstacles; strictly handling organizations and individuals who are slow, irresponsible, and report incorrectly.
Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and cities urgently organize the full and effective implementation of the Central Government's directions and assigned tasks in Directive No. 05/CT-TTg dated February 13, 2026 and Notice No. 239/TB-VPCP dated May 8, 2026; be responsible to the Prime Minister for progress and quality.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment shall preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to guide, urge, and inspect localities in the process of organizing implementation; promptly remove difficulties and obstacles within its authority, in cases exceeding its authority, summarize, propose, and report to the Prime Minister for consideration and direction; promote the leading role in monitoring and summarizing implementation results, and periodically report according to the tasks assigned by the Prime Minister.
