According to a report on the situation and results of administrative procedure control in May 2026, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment said that in the reporting period, the Ministry received a total of 80,131 administrative procedure dossiers. Of which, 15,425 dossiers were transferred from April and 64,706 dossiers were newly received.
Among the newly received dossiers, 41,796 dossiers were received online, and the remaining 22,910 dossiers were received through postal services or directly. The total number of dossiers processed is 75,348 dossiers, of which 75,341 dossiers were returned results ahead of schedule, on time, accounting for 99.99%; only 7 dossiers were returned overdue, accounting for 0.01%. Currently, 4,783 dossiers are still being processed.

The Ministry also said that the rate of digitizing dossiers and results of resolving administrative procedures reached 25.95%; the rate of issuing electronic results reached 28.11%; the rate of exploiting and reusing digitized information and data reached 35.38%.
Regarding the results of cutting, decentralizing, decentralizing, and simplifying administrative procedures, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the number of administrative procedures that have been cut and simplified is 151 procedures, including 81 procedures cut and 70 procedures simplified.
This reduction helps reduce about 2,239 days of administrative procedure resolution time, equivalent to 13.43%. Compliance costs are further reduced by about 202 billion VND, reaching 2.08%.
Including the results of the 2025 cut and this cut, the total time to resolve administrative procedures has been cut by 8,987 days, reaching 53.39%; the total cost of complying with administrative procedures has been cut by 5,310 billion VND, reaching 54.73% compared to 2024.
Regarding decentralization and decentralization of administrative procedures, the report clearly states that the number of administrative procedures at the Ministry level before the implementation of the plan was 267 procedures; after implementation, there are still 148 procedures, equivalent to 26.67% of the total number of administrative procedures under the management scope of the Ministry.
In June 2026, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment said it will continue to complete the promulgation, announcement, and public disclosure of relevant documents and administrative procedures after resolutions and circulars take effect; and at the same time guide localities to implement procedures that have been decentralized and decentralized, ensuring that no legal loopholes or inconsistent understandings arise.
