On March 31, Tu Liem Ward People's Committee, Hanoi City organized the enforcement of land recovery for 27 households subject to site clearance, to serve the implementation of the Phu Do regulating lake construction project.
The Phu Do regulating lake project is an important project in enhancing drainage capacity, reducing flooding, improving the ecological environment and completing urban infrastructure in the area. The project is large-scale, involving many households, and is identified as a key task that needs to be focused on in the current period.
In the past time, Tu Liem Ward People's Committee has mobilized the entire political system to participate, promote propaganda and mobilization, organized many conferences, dialogues, and direct contacts with households to promptly answer petitions and ensure the legitimate rights of people in accordance with the law.
In particular, Mr. Le Viet Bac Anh - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee - directly directed, together with working groups, to go to each household to propagate, mobilize, and explain policies, thereby creating a clear change in awareness and consensus among the people. Thanks to that, the majority of households have complied with the policy, received compensation, support, resettlement plans and handed over land according to regulations.
However, there are still some cases that have not complied, and at the same time there are violating works that need to be thoroughly handled, forcing functional agencies to carry out coercion in accordance with the law to ensure discipline and general progress of the project.
The coercion work was implemented seriously, closely, in accordance with legal procedures, ensuring absolute safety for people and property, maintaining security and social order in the area. Participating forces coordinated synchronously, both performing coercion tasks and continuing to propagate and mobilize people to understand and agree with the general policy.
Speaking at the scene, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Tu Liem Ward People's Committee - emphasized that coercion is the final solution after fully implementing the propaganda and dialogue steps according to regulations.
Mr. Binh affirmed that the ward always pays attention to ensuring the maximum legitimate rights of the people, and at the same time requested the forces to continue to seriously and effectively implement the tasks, contributing to accelerating the project progress.
The organization of this enforcement clearly demonstrates the determination of Tu Liem ward in strengthening direction, removing difficulties, and thoroughly handling existing problems in site clearance, creating conditions for the Phu Do regulating lake project to be implemented synchronously, meeting the requirements of sustainable urban development and improving the quality of people's lives in the area.
