On January 21, Da Nang City People's Committee issued a decision approving the project with a total investment of more than 1,500 billion VND.
The resettlement area project is implemented in Ba Na commune, divided into two phases of implementation. In which, the initial phase will focus on compensation and site clearance to build a resettlement area with an expected scale of 45 land plots (including 37 7.5m road plots and 8 5.5m road reserves).
The remaining component project will invest synchronously in technical infrastructure on an area of nearly 56ha. The main items include: Wastewater drainage system, pumping station, and capacity increase of centralized wastewater treatment station.
Previously, on January 20, the City People's Committee also approved two key traffic projects. Specifically, the city will invest more than 1,380 billion VND to build a traffic route along the Cu De River, creating a straight connecting axis to the Free Trade Zone. At the same time, the project to upgrade and expand the Nam Hai Van bypass with a length of more than 5km was also approved with a budget of more than 1,965 billion VND.
According to the plan, these infrastructure projects will be implemented in the period from 2026 to 2029.
Da Nang Free Trade Zone is planned with a scale of 1,881ha, allocated in 7 strategic locations. Among them, the first 3 locations are located in Hai Van ward with an area of more than 600ha.
