This road was seriously affected by storms and heavy rains in December 2025, causing landslides, damage to road surface, culverts and drainage systems, disrupting the travel of people in mountainous and border areas with a total cost of more than 30 billion VND.
The goal of the project is to quickly ensure traffic safety, serving the travel and cargo transportation needs of people in A Vuong, Tay Giang and Hung Son communes. This is a traffic route that plays an important role in inter-regional connectivity, ensuring daily life, production and rescue and relief work when natural disasters occur.
According to the approved plan, the project focuses on handling negative taluy landslides at 12 locations with a total length of nearly 1 km, where many sections of landslides have penetrated deep into the road surface, causing localized fault lines. Along with that, it is necessary to overcome positive taluy landslides, repair damage to the ABanh bridge surface, and handle sections of road surface foundation that have been eroded and subsided with concrete with a minimum width of 5.5 m, ensuring stable and long-term traffic capacity. The system of longitudinal ditches eroded has also been repaired synchronously to increase drainage efficiency.
The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to organize the selection of capable units for survey, design, supervision and construction; be responsible for managing quality, progress and safety of works. The Department of Finance coordinates to allocate funds in a timely manner, while relevant localities coordinate to clear ground and support construction.
The deployment of this urgent project contributes to early traffic recovery, ensuring safety for people in border areas, and limiting the risk of damage in the next rainy and storms.
It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.
