World gasoline prices today
World gasoline and oil prices today turned down sharply after the previous session of increase. At the end of yesterday's trading session (January 20), WTI and Brent oil prices increased by 1.72% and 0.14% respectively.
By this morning's session, both oil items reversed to decrease. At 11:55 AM, WTI crude oil was at 59.70 USD/barrel, down 0.66 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.09%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 60.36 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at 59.61 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at $64.11/barrel, down $0.81/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.25%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at $64.92/barrel; and opened today's session at $63.85/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On January 21, retail gasoline and oil prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in region 1 and region 2 are as follows:
The above-mentioned domestic retail gasoline and oil prices are adjusted by the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance from 3 pm on January 15, 2025.
Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline increased by 143 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline increased by 152 VND/liter; diesel oil increased by 226 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 138 VND/liter; mazut oil decreased by 2 VND/kg.

+ Nghi Son Refinery: Diesel oil 0.05S - II: 200 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 750 VND/liter.

+ Diesel 0.05S - II: 200 VND/liter;
+ Diesel 0.001S-V: Out of stock;
+ RON 95 - III gasoline: 800 VND/liter;
+ E5 gasoline: 750 VND/liter.

+ RON 95 - III gasoline: 600 VND/liter.

Forecast of domestic gasoline and oil prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a gasoline and oil business, domestic gasoline and oil prices will fluctuate according to the world gasoline and oil situation. According to current market developments, it is predicted that in the next price adjustment period, retail gasoline and oil prices may have opposite adjustments in the direction of gasoline prices slightly decreasing and oil prices increasing.
In which, the forecast price of RON 95 - III gasoline decreased by 110 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreased by 120 VND/liter; Diesel oil increased by 370 VND/liter.
