At about 11:00 a.m. on March 1, the auction of 54 plots of land in Ngo Ba area, Thanh Than village, Thanh Cao commune ended.
Accordingly, the plot of land with the highest winning price was LK03-10 (Group 1) with an area of 64.95m2 with a winning price of 90.33 million VND/m2, equivalent to more than 5.86 billion VND/plot of land. Other plots of land have winning prices ranging from 59.9 - 89 million VND/m2.
Previously, in August 2024, Thanh Oai district organized an auction of 68 land lots in Thanh Than village, Thanh Cao commune, in which the highest winning bid was up to more than 100 million VND/m2. Thus, at the auction on March 1, 2025, the highest winning price was lower than the previous auction, however, the winning price level is still higher than the market price in the area.
Talking to Lao Dong, Ms. Le Thi Mai - one of the participants in the auction - said that she did not win any plots of land. However, according to Ms. Mai, not winning back was a blessing as today's winning price was pushed up too high. For example, the LK02-01 plot of land with an area of 85m2 had a winning price of 87.33 million VND/m2, equivalent to more than 7.4 billion VND per plot of land.
"Buying land at such a high price is very risky and difficult to liquidate. With the current high price, I think the situation of deposit cancellation can continue," said Ms. Mai.
Like Ms. Mai, Mr. Chu Tuan Hai (Thanh Oai, Hanoi) returned empty-handed in today's auction. He said: "At first, I expected the highest price that could be paid to be 50 - 60 million VND/m2. However, the winning prices of the plots of land were pushed up, so I stopped the auction."
54 plots in the auction on January 1 were divided into three groups according to each starting price. The first group consists of 6 plots with a starting price of 16.3 million VND/m2; the second group consists of 24 plots with a starting price of 15.6 million VND/m2. The third group includes 24 plots with a starting price of 10.9 million VND/m2. Accordingly, the plots of land have starting prices ranging from over VND656 million to over VND1.3 billion. The deposit ranges from 130 million VND to 265 million VND per plot.
The total area of 54 plots of land is 4,405.04m2; the plots of land have an area of 60.01m2 to 85m2.
The form is to auction in groups of plots of land by direct secret ballot in one round. For each group of auctioned land plots, auction participants are given a bidding form to record the bid price. The method is to bid up.
