The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just issued a decision approving the adjustment of the 2025 Land Use Plan of Hai Duong City. This adjustment is aimed at coordinating the development orientation of urban areas, industry, services and practical needs in the locality.
Accordingly, the total area of agricultural land group was adjusted down compared to the original plan. Specifically, from 3,881.26 hectares to 3,828.71 hectares, a decrease of 52.56 hectares. Of which, rice land decreased by 40.10 hectares, land for other annual crops decreased by 3.37 hectares, land for perennial crops decreased by 0.5 hectares and aquaculture land decreased by 8.58 hectares.
In the opposite direction, the non-agricultural land group was adjusted to increase from 7,271.14 hectares to 7,323.69 hectares. Many types of land in this group are expanded to meet the needs of infrastructure development and socio-economic development.
Urban residential land increased by 11.3 hectares; land for construction of educational and training facilities increased by 1.67 hectares; land for traffic increased by 14.73 hectares; land for commercial and service increased by 1.3 hectares; land for public entertainment and recreation increased by 3.78 hectares...
Notably, industrial cluster land increased sharply by 49.9 hectares while industrial park land decreased by 30.29 hectares. This reflects the flexible adjustment in land allocation for production development, in line with the trend of industrial dispersation in small clusters, associated with people's infrastructure.
Some other types of land have also been adjusted to increase such as non-agricultural production land, cemetery land, funeral homes and ashes storage facilities... contributing to better meeting the needs of public services in urban development.
The adjustment of the 2025 land use plan of Hai Duong City shows the orientation of balanced and sustainable development between agriculture, industry and services. At the same time, it creates an important legal basis for implementing public investment projects and attracting private investment, contributing to the development of Hai Duong City.
