To ensure the normal and smooth operation of agencies after the merger of Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city on July 1, the Hai Duong Department of Construction has requested departments, branches and sectors of the province to proactively coordinate with units of Hai Phong city to develop a plan to arrange appropriate workplaces according to the general plan.
At the Hai Phong City Political - Administrative Center (Cam River North Urban Area, Thuy Nguyen City), Party and government agencies will work according to specific subdivisions. In which, building A (15 floors) will be the workplace of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Internal Affairs Department, the City Party Committee Office, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Hai Phong City People's Council. Building B (also 15 floors) is arranged for the Office of the City People's Committee, the Party Committee of the People's Committee and the Department of Education and Training.
Other departments such as Culture, Sports and Tourism; Industry and Trade; Justice; Construction; Health; Home Affairs; Agriculture and Environment along with a number of units under the Party and local government will be arranged from Building C to Building M in the central area.
In addition, there are 7 units working at locations outside the Administrative Center: Hai Phong City Inspectorate temporarily uses the headquarters of Hai An District People's Committee; The Fatherland Front Committee uses the new headquarters of Ngo Quyen District People's Committee; The Department of Finance returns to work at Hong Bang District People's Committee; The Department of Science and Technology is located at the old headquarters of Ngo Quyen District People's Committee; The Department of Foreign Affairs continues to use the current headquarters; The Economic Zone Management Board uses the headquarters at 5'9 Dinh Tien Hoang; The Public Administration Center will temporarily use the headquarters of the Economic Zone Management Board at 24 Cu Chinh Lan.
To ensure the relocation of headquarters is carried out according to plan, the Hai Duong Department of Construction recommends that units proactively work with relevant agencies on the Hai Phong City side, complete a detailed arrangement plan for offices for leaders and specialized departments and offices. The detailed plan must be sent to the Hai Duong Department of Construction before June 25 for synthesis and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee.
The relocation of the headquarters is expected to take place on June 28 and 29, ensuring that by July 1, the unified government apparatus will be put into stable and effective operation.
