On the afternoon of June 23, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Hai Duong province held a conference to announce the decision to end operations, transfer grassroots trade unions and summarize the work of the Trade Union in the first 6 months of 2025.
At the conference, all 204 grassroots trade unions (CDCS) with more than 100,000 union members were handed over to the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF) in accordance with the policy of reorganizing the trade union apparatus. This is an important preparation step to improve the organization, streamline the unit, and ensure stable union activities in industrial parks in the transition period.
Mr. Do Huy Chuyen - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Hai Duong province - said that in the first 6 months of the year, the ideology of union members and workers at enterprises was stable, actively competing to celebrate major national holidays. Regulations on traffic safety, harm prevention of alcohol and use of firecrackers are strictly implemented.
The production situation after Tet is relatively favorable, 98% of workers return to work, with an average income of about 7.5 million VND/person/month.
Labor relations at enterprises are harmonious, without disputes or collective work stoppages. Units have implemented salary and bonus policies well, without unpaid wages or social insurance debts.

However, Mr. Do Huy Chuyen also pointed out certain difficulties, as a special trade union organization in the industrial production area, the Industrial Parks Trade Union faces many limitations in organizing the movement.
100% of grassroots union officials work part-time, with large personnel fluctuations, lack of experience and limited time for union work. The inspection and supervision of the implementation of policies for workers is not timely.
The completion of the activities of the Industrial Parks Trade Union and the handover of all grassroots trade unions to the Provincial Federation of Labor is an important milestone in the roadmap for reorganizing and innovating the trade union organization.
At the same time, this is also the time to objectively and comprehensively evaluate trade union activities in the enterprise sector, thereby proposing solutions to improve the quality of representation, care for and protect the rights of workers in the coming time.
