On October 28, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued a document implementing the announcement of the conclusion of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee regarding the adjustment of the planning of the new Dong Nai province for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with relevant units and localities to speed up the progress of establishing and adjusting urban master plans and commune and ward master plans.
In which, the planning of 4 urban areas includes: Bien Hoa, Long Thanh, Nhon Trach, Trang Bom and the general planning for a number of communes and wards with key socio-economic scale, areas around Long Thanh International Airport.
Advising and proposing the Provincial People's Committee to consider and approve according to its authority in 2025, the remaining communes and wards will approve in 2026.

Previously, on September 25, Dong Nai province held a Workshop on Giving Suggestions to Adjust the Planning of the new Dong Nai province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 with the participation of experts and scientists to contribute opinions.
