On September 5, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Nai City publicly consulted and assessed the environmental impact of the "Nhon Phuoc Tourist Urban Area" project in Dai Phuoc commune, Dong Nai City.
The public consultation period is 15 days (from September 5th to the end of September 20th).
Accordingly, the project has an area of 204.7ha, a population of about 12,500 people, and is invested by Song Tien Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company.
The project location is bordered to the North by Long Truong ward (HCMC) across the Dong Nai River; to the East and West by the Dong Nai River; to the South by the North of Dai Phuoc Eco-tourism Urban Area.
The scope of environmental impact assessment of the project is activities in the construction deployment phase such as: site clearance, ground leveling, gathering, storing construction materials, excavating foundations, constructing construction items and workers' activities.
In addition, there are activities during the operation phase such as residents' activities in urban areas, operation of wastewater treatment plants; noise, vibration, overflowing rainwater; environmental risks and incidents that may occur during the construction and operation of the project.
During the construction phase, the number of workers concentrated at the construction site is estimated at about 200 people.
