Mr. Tran Tri Quang - Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee - has just signed and issued a Plan to participate in implementing the Prime Minister's Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021 - 2030" in Dong Thap province.
Accordingly, Dong Thap province strives to invest and call for investment in 18 projects to build 7,246 social housing units for workers and low-income earners from now until 2030. Of these, 3,508 units are for workers and 3,738 units are for low-income earners. This project is implemented in 2 phases.
In the period of 2023 - 2025, investment will be completed in 2 projects: My Phu Social Housing (Cao Lanh City) and Housing for workers of Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company (Cao Lanh City). Dong Thap province also calls for investment in 10 projects with a scale of 5,607 apartments, including: 2,944 apartments for workers and 2,663 apartments for low-income people.
In the 2026-2030 period, continue to call for investment in 6 projects with a scale of 1,639 apartments, including 500 apartments for workers and 1,139 apartments for low-income people.
