Project in Hai Duong behind schedule due to site clearance

Hai Duong - On October 5, Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau inspected a number of investment projects to build industrial park infrastructure in the province.

According to the report of the investor of the expanded Phuc Dien Industrial Park infrastructure, the project encountered problems related to site clearance, and 4 households still did not agree with the compensation and support plan for site clearance due to the low compensation and support prices.

At Gia Loc Industrial Park, the area requiring site clearance is 174.24 hectares.Currently, the project still has problems with 6 households and 35kV power lines, and some graves in Hong Hung and Hoang Dieu communes in both investment phases of the project.The construction progress of this industrial park is slower than required.

Through the actual inspection of the project implementation situation at the expanded Phuc Dien Industrial Park and Gia Loc Industrial Park, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau requested relevant local authorities to focus on supporting and removing obstacles in site clearance, ensuring the harmony of interests of enterprises and people, the implementation process needs to apply the compensation mechanism, support site clearance for people at the highest level according to current legal regulations. The Provincial Industrial Park Project Management Board regularly monitors and has commitments with investors on the progress of infrastructure completion and attracting secondary investors.

Once the infrastructure is completed, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau suggested that investors of industrial parks prioritize attracting secondary investors with industries that do not cause environmental pollution, modern technology, and high labor productivity. In addition, infrastructure investors also need to pay attention to building modern infrastructure, suitable green landscapes; pay attention to taking care of social security policies for workers such as housing issues, utility services in industrial parks, etc.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also emphasized that the province always pays attention to developing infrastructure of industrial parks, and the existing industrial land will be a great advantage for Hai Duong in attracting investment.

Working with An Phat Holdings Corporation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau listened to and gave his opinion on resolving difficulties related to the investor's proposal on implementing the intersection of the road to Luong Dien - Ngoc Lien Industrial Park with National Highway 38; proposed to recalculate land prices for the part that has changed from green land to industrial land of An Phat 1 Industrial Park; approved the planning for the Nam Sach 1 Industrial Park project.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau directed local authorities and departments to focus on coordination in solving the problem to create favorable conditions for businesses.

An Phat Industrial Park project has a scale of 180 hectares, the investor plans to complete the entire infrastructure by December 2025. As of October, the project has attracted 18 projects, including 16 foreign-invested projects, with an occupancy rate of more than 74%. An Phat Group has completed the acquisition of the Luong Dien - Ngoc Lien Industrial Park project in Cam Giang district with a total area of ​​about 150 hectares, expected to be leveled from January 2025.
