Focus on reviewing land data
After receiving the notice from the head of the residential group, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khanh (Viet Hung ward, Hanoi) brought his citizen identification card and land use right certificate to the residential group cultural house to update land data. Here, he was checked by officials for information on the land user, land plot, area, address, purpose of use and confirmed the location on the map.
Mr. Khanh said that the process of checking and comparing information only takes about 5 minutes.
According to Lao Dong's records, currently, wards and communes in Hanoi are entering the final stage of completing the land database.
Head of the Economic Department of Trung Gia commune Bui Thi Thuy Ngan said that the total number of land plots on the map of Trung Gia commune is 65,996 plots. In which, as of September 21, a database of 37,381 land plots has been built, and a database of 28,615 land plots is being built.
Trung Gia commune has planned synchronously, standardized, and collected new data for the remaining land plots, striving to complete them before September 25 according to the plan of the Hanoi People's Committee.
Commune officials are all stretching themselves, spreading out to the villages to strive to complete the land data update on schedule" - Ms. Ngan said.
Ms. Le Thi Thu - Deputy Head of the Economic Department of Tay Ho ward - said that by September 21, the locality had completed about 80% of the volume of land data.
In the last days of the peak period, 35 working groups are still continuing to review data according to each land plot. Currently, the ward is coordinating with the Department of Agriculture and Environment to review the list of land plots that lack information and need to be supplemented.
According to Ms. Thu, when entering the final stage, the review encounters more difficulties because it is necessary to specifically inspect each land plot. Land administration officials, working groups and neighborhood group leaders have times to carry out the review until 9 pm, 10 pm.
Cases that cannot be verified will be summarized and reported to the city. Later, when there is more information or contact with land owners, we will continue to update" - Ms. Thu said.
Determination to complete the land database in October
Recently, at the Conference to thoroughly grasp and implement the plans and action programs of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to implement the Resolution of the 3rd Plenum of the 14th Central Committee and a number of resolutions and directives of the Politburo, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Bui Duy Cuong said that the city is determined to complete the land database in the area in October 2026.
The city focuses on leading and directing the resolution of long-standing problems and obstacles in land management, especially site clearance, service land allocation, agricultural and forestry land, building land databases and handling slow-progress projects.
For the land database, the whole city has 4.9 million land plots. After a 45-day campaign, from 25th/34 provinces and cities in June 2026, Hanoi has risen to 6th/34 provinces and cities.
