Kien An ward is currently implementing 23 projects invested by the Kien An Regional Project Management Board. Of which, 6 projects have been completed and approved for final settlement; 3 projects have been completed and are being reviewed by the Department of Finance; 8 projects have been completed and are completing documents to submit to the Department of Construction for inspection and approval of acceptance results; 6 projects are under construction.
Regarding compensation and site clearance, the Ring Road 2 Project, Tan Vu - Hung Dao - Bui Vien section, has a total project area of nearly 180,000 m2. Up to now, the Kien An Project Management Board has coordinated with the Ward People's Committee to basically complete the compensation and site clearance work for the project, with a total amount paid to households of nearly 110.8 billion VND. Currently, the project still has 2 un relocated sand burial graves.
The project to invest in the construction of technical infrastructure for the resettlement area in Phuong Khe residential group has a total land area recovered for the project of 30,181 m2. Currently, the project is still stuck with 1 household related to complaint settlement, and has not yet carried out site clearance. The disbursement of public investment capital in 2025 in the ward as of December 4 was VND 75.486 billion, reaching 64% of the granted capital plan, the remaining undisbursed capital was over VND 43.2 billion.
After inspecting the situation and listening to reports and opinions of the ward, departments and branches of the city to conclude the inspection, Mr. Le Anh Quan - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee - emphasized that the progress of public investment capital disbursement in Kien An area is still quite slow compared to the scenario of public investment capital disbursement set by the city and lower than the general average progress of the whole city. Therefore, the Kien An Project Management Board must focus on disbursing public investment capital in the area, ensuring completion on schedule.
In addition, the government closely coordinates with the Kien An Project Management Board to focus on propaganda and mobilization to complete site clearance for the Ring Road 2 project, Tan Vu - Hung Dao section - Bui Vien road, striving to complete the relocation of the remaining 2 graves by December 15.
With the resettlement project in Phuong Khe Residential Group, the units have resolved the problem of existing, ensuring construction conditions. For traffic works and public works, the Project Management Board of the area and the construction unit need to increase human resources and equipment, speed up the construction progress, not affecting the lives and travel of the people.
As for the Hanh Phuc Lake Flower Garden Project, the progress is very slow, the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the contractor to follow the daily progress commitment, the Management Board must closely follow the site, urge regularly, and at the same time consider the contractor's responsibility if there are further delays.
Relevant departments and branches coordinate to support localities in the work of evaluating, accepting, and settling completed projects and removing obstacles in compensation, support, site clearance, ensuring the progress of projects as well as the progress of public investment disbursement in accordance with the city's direction.
