The Department of Construction has just approved the regulations on the first phase of the 2026 real estate brokerage practice certificate exam.
The entrance exam will be held on June 14, 2026, at the Provincial Political School. This is the 2nd time the unit has organized the exam.
Statistics from the Housing and Real Estate Market Management Department of the Department of Construction show that up to now, more than 1,300 people have registered to participate in the examination to issue new certificates, along with 15 people registering for the examination to reissue professional certificates.
The exam is organized by the Department of Construction to standardize professional competence for the brokerage team and strengthen state management of this field.
From there, promote the healthy development of the real estate brokerage profession; improve transparency and professionalism for the market, protect the rights of people and investors.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Hong - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction said that before 2015, the issuance of real estate brokerage practice certificates was mainly carried out based on considering dossier conditions. However, since the 2014 Law on Real Estate Business took effect, practitioners must participate in testing and meet the requirements to be granted certificates.
However, for many years, the province has not been able to organize the exam due to insufficient minimum number and lack of strong decentralization.
The organization of competitive examinations from the end of 2025 to now contributes to standardizing the brokerage team and improving the efficiency of state management in the real estate sector.
